Frequently Asked Questions
What is your cancellation/refund policy for CLINICS?
If you have to cancel for any reason before the start of clinic, we will issue you a 100% refund. Please note: If cancelled less than two weeks prior to the clinic, a $15 insurance and processing fee will be deducted from the clinic fee for refund.
Will I be able to get in touch with my son while they are at camp?
Yes. All campers are allowed to bring cell phones to camp.
Are there any event rules?
We do not tolerate the use of drugs or alcohol. We also do not allow physical abuse or property damage. Lastly, we do not allow any players to leave the camp or clinic. Breaking any of these rules warrants an immediate dismissal from camp without refund.
What is Harvest Lacrosse’s policy in regards to bad weather?
In the event of rain, the Camp Director will decide whether to stay outside or go to our indoor facility. We will immediately go inside due to lightning or severe weather.
Are parents allowed to visit and watch sessions?
Absolutely!! We encourage family members to come to all Harvest events.
What is the weather cancellation policy?
For outdoor camps/clinics, if there is a high chance of thunderstorm preceding the event, we will cancel the camp by 5pm the day before and reschedule. Participants will be notified via email and notification will be posted on our website. Once an outdoor clinic has begun, we will play through the rain. In the case of thunder or lightning, we will vacate the field for indoor safety.
What if my son has special medical needs?
Please email us any special medical concerns we need to consider during camp week as well as medications your son will be taking during camp.
What time should I arrive to camp?
Please arrive to Camp 15 minutes before scheduled start time (30 minutes on the first day) so you have time to gear up and are ready to go on time.
What do I bring to Day Camp?
It is the responsibility of each player to come to camp with appropriate gear and equipment (sticks, gloves, pads, mouth guard and helmet). Furthermore each player is required to wear his helmet at all times during drills, practices, scrimmages and games. We also highly recommend players bring a notepad and a writing utensil for the benefit of writing down information they learn throughout camp.
It is up to each participant to bring a packed lunch. Lunch will NOT be provided by the camp unless specified otherwise. Make sure to bring enough water, as hydration is taken very seriously at our camps.
What level of player attends Harvest Lacrosse Camps?
We teach players that are picking up the stick for the first time to those that start for their Varsity team. By using our educational progression, we are able to cater to the needs of each individual camper. Beginners, intermediate and advanced players receive instruction that is appropriate for their skill level. Our heavy focus on fundamentals allows for us to appeal to all ages and skill levels.
Are Harvest Lacrosse Camps geared for specific positions or all positions?
We make sure to provide each position the attention it deserves. Each position has its own specific coach teaching them throughout the event.
Will there be special training for goalies?
Absolutely! Goalie training is integrated in the Harvest Curriculum throughout the duration of our events. In addition, all of our goalies receive private training sessions with experienced goalie coaches.

What type of staff will be at Harvest events?
We do not stress the importance of name recognitions within any Harvest events. We recruit our staff based on not only their knowledge and experience of the game but those who share the same Harvest vision. Our staff is skilled in their ability to present the material in a way that players can remember, retain and practice what they have learned. We will try and choose staff that comes from a variety of backgrounds so that they will be able to give real life examples of how they have used the Harvest Core Values in their
lacrosse and personal life.
