Grant, a 4-year starter on Attack while attending the University of Maryland, has embraced his role not only as an All-American, but as a role model for all players. A 2011 team captain, Catalino proved to be an outstanding leader for Maryland.

Coach Dave Cottle, former Maryland head coach and current Chesapeake Bayhawks head coach, describes Grant as a players who “carried himself with class and always was an outstanding student and teammate…[He] worked extremely hard in the weight room and constantly worked on his skill development to become an All-American player. [Also], he became one of the best extra man players I have ever coached and became a “great student of the game”…. He was a leader who always wanted to know why we did things so that he could understand them in order to help other players understand..It wouldn’t surprise me if [he] became an outstanding coach someday, because he was so analytical as a player.”

He maintained a 3.44/4.00 GPA in Finance in the Robert E. Smith School of Business, which was ranked No. 9 among all public universities by U.S. News & World Report. Other academic accomplishments include; 2x Academic All-American; Dean’s list: 2008-2011; ACC Academic Honor Roll: 2007-2011; Athletic Directors Honor Roll: 2008, 2009, 2011; and a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Grant continued his lacrosse career in the MLL. In his first MLL season, Grant tied the single game scoring MLL record with 9 goals and set rookie 2 point scoring record in the MLL.

Alex grew up in Rochester where he played football, basketball and lacrosse for the Aquinas Institute. While at Aquinas, he was a starter on the 2007 State Championship football team and was a 4-year varsity starter and 2x captain for lacrosse. He continued his post-high school career playing defense at Monroe Community College and later Roberts Wesleyan College, where he was team captain during his senior year.

His passion for sports became clear at a young age and led him to major in Physical Education and Coaching. Alex strives to use both the field and the classroom as a place where he can mentor young men and help them achieve their athletic and academic goals. Alex's coaching and teaching style is informed by a strong belief in "cura personalis" or "care for the whole person." Throughout his six years coaching three sports, Alex has volunteered his time to help young men hone not only their athleticism but their leadership skills.

Alex currently teaches Social Studies at McQuaid Jesuit, where he also coaches football and lacrosse. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in education. He seeks to foster a commitment to excellence in all of his players, and to help them become leaders among their peers. He is looking forward to his second season coaching with Harvest.

Tanner grew up in Corning, NY and played lacrosse at Corning East High School. There, he played in the NY state championship games in his junior and senior years. He went on to play attack and midfield at RIT up through 2011 and graduated in 2012.

After graduating, Tanner coached with the NH Tomahawks while working in New Hampshire. He loves seeing players develop and by into the coaching each practice. He really enjoys witnessing players put in the hard work and apply what is being taught. Seeing players do something that they may not have been able to do the practice before is motivation to keep coaching. Tanner is currently a Quality Manager at growing cold chain packaging company in Gates.

Dave grew up in Webster where he played volleyball and lacrosse. He continued his lacrosse career at SUNY Oswego where he studied elementary education. Dave was the recipient of the Block O coaches award.  

Currently, Dave teaches at Quest Elementary in the Hilton Central School district. He was a part of the Cadet Lacrosse program for 7 years. He guided the program to their only league title in 2013 and was named Monroe County Division 3 Coach of the year. He is now on the coaching staff at Webster Schroeder High School. His goal is to develop a top-tier lacrosse program that produces successful players on the lacrosse field and in life through teaching discipline, teamwork, and responsibility. Dave continues to live out his passion for the sport and for coaching, while applying the same goals and utilizing his team experiences to help players develop. This is Dave’s fourth year coaching with Harvest!

After graduating from Rush-Henrietta, Colin played for Monroe C.C., where he ranked 13th in the nation for total points. He went on to finish his career at Roberts for their inaugural 2012 season. He scored the 1st goal in the history of the program and averaged 4.8 points per game during that season.

After graduating from Roberts Wesleyan, Colin became the Offensive Coordinator for the Roberts Wesleyan men’s lacrosse team in 2015. In his second year, Coach Cornaire led his man-up offense to 10th best in the national rankings. He loves coaching the sport and watching players develop as he teaches them new concepts. Coach Cornaire is a Rochester native and he resides in Pittsford with his wife Elizabeth and three daughters Sawyer, Shea, and Elle.

Dave grew up in Rochester and attended Greece Arcadia High School. He then went on to SUNY Buffalo and SUNY Brockport, where he played club lacrosse. Coaching has become a true passion of Dave’s. He has coached lacrosse, football and basketball for all ages from Kindergarten through Varsity. He says he was first introduced to coaching by his father.

With 24 years of coaching experience, Dave says some of his most memorable experiences have been: the parade and community celebration at the Courthouse after the 2009 State Championship Game, the atmosphere at Shootout for Soldiers Canandaigua, and the relationships made with numerous current and past players.

Dave is a Social Studies teacher at Canandaigua Academy and currently their boys JV Lacrosse coach. New to our Harvest team, Dave says he is excited to be part of a program that offers top level training/competition while developing character traits for success in life. Dave resides in Canandaigua with his wife Colleen and children, Braden and Keira.

After graduating from Webster Thomas High School, Jake continued his lacrosse career at LeMoyne College. Jake then transferred to Jacksonville University for his sophomore season.

At Jacksonville, he was named captain for the program’s inaugural season where the Dolphins finished with a 6-7 record, winning games against Denver, Mount St. Mary’s, and Rutgers. Jake, a 3-year starter on defense, finished his career as a program leader in caused turnovers, groundballs, and games started.

He maintained a 3.8/4.0 GPA while at Jacksonville. Other academic accomplishments include: Dean’s List 2011-2012, Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in Communications, and acceptance into Lambda Pi Eta – National Communication Association.

After college, Jake was drafted by the Rochester Rattlers, but has since worked professionally in communications and marketing, currently at Dixon Schwabl in Victor.

After graduating from Livonia High School, Tyler continued his education and lacrosse career at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Coach Jake Coon reflects on Tyler’s distinguished years at RIT and says, “scoring 122 goals in only 2 seasons makes Tyler one of the best pure finishers RIT has ever had. His 69 goals in a season still stands as the most in a single season in RIT history.” Coach Coon adds, “Tyler also had grown into a great coach and mentor in the club and college community. It is great to see a local player excel like he has."

After graduating from the Saunders School of Business at RIT with a 3.26 GPA, Tyler went on to work in the finance industry from 2012-2014. Throughout that time, he was still heavily involved with lacrosse, helping out at his alma mater (Livonia) and volunteering with ROC E6’s inner-city lacrosse program. He also spent the 2016-2017 season as a Volunteer Assistant coach at Division 1, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), primarily working with the goalies and offense.

In the fall of 2014, Tyler decided he wanted to invest more of his time into the sport, so he began working with Building Blocks Lacrosse (BBL), located in central New Jersey. From 2014-2017 Tyler learned the ins and outs of the lacrosse industry, ultimately leading to his role as the Director of their Youth Program. During his time at BBL, he saw the program reach new heights, winning multiple tournaments at the youth level and also sending a team to Denver for the World Series of Youth Lacrosse. In addition to running the youth program, he also founded BBL’s Box Lacrosse program, which was one of the first authentic box experiences for players in the area.

After graduating from Rush Henrietta High School, Jake continued his education and lacrosse career at Stevens Institute of Technology, where he was a three-year starter for their men’s lacrosse program. In 2011, Stevens achieved its best record in the programs 125 year history, earning team awards. Jake was awarded defensive MVP and best work ethic.

After graduating from Stevens, Jake continued to play as well as coach. He enjoys coaching and watching players compete at a high level. His energy and passion for the sport is contagious to his players, which shows on the field. Currently working as an engineer for a medical device company.

Sean grew up in Syracuse, NY, where he played attack at Bishop Ludden High School. He then continued his lacrosse career for four years as a midfielder at St. John Fisher College. After graduation, Sean completed his Master’s Degree and Certificate of Advanced Study at the University at Albany.

Sean currently works as a school psychologist in the Hilton Central School District, and has coached lacrosse within the district for the past seven years. He is currently the head coach of the Hilton Varsity team. Sean enjoys being a part of the Hilton lacrosse program and is eager to continue learning as a coach while helping his players improve their individual skills and team-based understanding of the game. Sean is entering his third season as a Harvest coach, and is looking forward to the 2017-2018 season.

After graduating from Marcellus High School in 2010, Greg went on to play 4 years of college lacrosse at St. John Fisher College as a midfielder. He was named a 2-year captain his junior and senior year. He earned 2nd team All-Conference as a senior and All-Conference honorable mention as a junior. Greg earned Dean’s List honors at St. John Fisher College and graduated with a 3.4 GPA.

Greg most recently coached varsity lacrosse at Gananda High School. He will be graduating with a Doctorate in Chiropractic this upcoming December from New York Chiropractic College. He hopes to remain in the area as a practitioner. Greg looks forward to the opportunity to coach and would love to stay involved with the sport throughout his professional career.

Jimmy graduated from HFL High school, where he played lacrosse and soccer all 4 years, 3 of which were on varsity. He was also a two-time All-League, 2nd team defense in lacrosse and captain for both soccer and lacrosse teams his senior year. He also won Class B championship in soccer his junior year.

He continued his post-high school career playing defense at St. John Fisher, where his team made it to the Empire 8 playoffs all four years. Jimmy was originally recruited to play soccer at SJF but decided to pursue his passion for lacrosse. He graduated from St. John Fisher with a 3.42 GPA while maintaining academic status on the Dean’s list.

Jimmy went on to coach both soccer and lacrosse for HFL, as well as other local summer camps and supporting HFL’s youth sports teams. He was part of the Resolute Force program coaching youth players while in Rochester. Jimmy says teaching players at a young age the fundamentals is important to watching them succeed down the road.

After graduating from Webster Schroeder High School, Scott continued his education and lacrosse career at SUNY Cortland.  At Cortland, Scott maintained his accademic status on the Deans list and finished with a 3.20 GPA. 

After graduating from Cortland, Scott became the head assistant coach at Monroe Community College as the defense and goalie coach. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Sports Management and is the men's lacrosse assistant coach at SUNY Cortland. Scott is dedicated to pursuing a career in coaching and truly enjoys the sport of lacrosse and making a difference through building relationships with players at all levels of play.

Ian graduated from West Irondequoit High School (NY), where he played lacrosse from 2007-2008. In 2007, Nash played for the Section V Championship Title team that made it to the State semi-finals, earning 2nd Team All-County honors as a Junior. In 2008, Nash led his team to the Section V Championship game and earned 1st Team All-County Honors. He continued his lacrosse career at Monroe C.C., Roberts Wesleyan College, and Salisbury University.

Ian became the Defensive Coordinator for the Roberts Wesleyan men’s lacrosse team in 2015. In his second year, Coach Nash led his Man-Down Defense to an 82.1% success rate, which was good for 4th Best in the National Rankings. Ian’s passion for the sport is well documented. He takes a lot of pride in focusing on defensive fundamentals and building up his players starting from a strong foundation.

Jon graduated from Binghamton High School, where he was a starting goalie for 3 years of Varsity. He continued his education and lacrosse career at St. John Fisher College, where he graduated with a 3.9 GPA in education. Jon played lacrosse for 4 years, starting goalie for 3 years. He was also captain of both high school and college lacrosse teams and hockey teams.

Since graduating, Jon has worked with goalies and defense at St. John Fisher and is currently our goalie specific-coach for Harvest. He is dedicated to helping develop highly skilled lacrosse players by transferring his skills and knowledge to youth who are committed to being the best they can be. He is passionate about using the sport of lacrosse to help build strong morals and character in developing student athletes.

After graduating from Webster Schroeder Jake attended Alfred University to continue his lacrosse career. While there he started all 4 years at defense, leading the team in caused turnovers.

Jake also received his Master’s in Education from Alfred, while becoming an assistant coach for the lacrosse program. Once he completed his Master's, Jake began teaching in East Irondequoit in 2016. He currently teaches 5th grade at Laurelton-Pardee Intermediate School along with being an assistant varsity coach at Webster Schroeder High School. Jake has a strong passion for the sport and loves working with players of any age. He is excited to be a part of our Harvest staff!

Marco graduated from Webster Schroeder High School, where he played both soccer and lacrosse.  His lacrosse career started in 6th grade and he continued to play throughout varsity. Marco continued his education and soccer career at SUNY Brockport. At Brockport, Marco maintained his academic status on the Dean’s list. In his last semester, Marco became the head coach for the boys Brockport modified lacrosse team. He has a passion for working with kids and coaching.

Marco has been a Harvest summer camp coach for 7 years and continues to enjoy getting to know new campers as well as returning campers. He is currently completing his student teaching at Calkins Road Middle School and Jefferson Ave Elementary. He loves working with kids and building teacher/coach relationships with kids and students. He truly enjoys seeing student athletes grow on and off the field.

John continued his post-high school lacrosse career at SUNY Potsdam where he graduated with a degree in Sociology. His coaching career has spanned over a decade. He spent two seasons as Varsity Assistant Coach at Potsdam High School before eventually returning to SUNY Potsdam as an Assistant Coach. He also spent 7 seasons coaching in the Canandaigua Academy program.

John believes in a systematic building block approach – which might explain his career as a construction project manager. He has a passion for the game and for developing young players into selfless and determined teammates who are relentless in their pursuits on and off the field. This is John’s 4th year coaching with Harvest!

Evander is a Penfield High School graduate, where he was awarded first team all-county long stick midfielder. He continued his lacrosse career at Monroe C.C., where he received honourable mention All-American his sophomore year at defensive midfield. He would go on to finish his career at Alfred University. His past coaching experience is with the East Rochester youth football program. He coached players ages 10-12, who played wide receiver and defensive back.

Evander is a Rochester native and currently works at the University of Rochester. Evander says he has always had the desire to coach and make a difference in athletes lives. Lacrosse has always been a passion for him and he is excited to be a part of our Harvest team!

Coach James began playing lacrosse in 7th grade at Cortland Middle School and went on to continue his career at Immaculate Heart High School in Watertown, NY. From there he attended Division II Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA.

After graduating from college, Dan continued his passion for lacrosse through coaching. He has since then held several coaching positions at different high schools, including McQuaid Jesuit. At McQuaid, Dan was an assistant varsity coach for four years and head varsity coach for six years. Currently, he is coaching at Division III St. John Fisher College. Dan loves coaching the sport and having an impact on young lacrosse players.

Dan lives in Fairport with his wife Tamra and son Knox. He is a Partner and Financial Advisor at RFG Associates, LLC. He has been involved in the investment management and financial planning field for the last 10+ years. In his spare time, he likes to stay active by playing hockey and golf.
